A former associate counsel for the legal division of the Arkansas Insurance Department, Roger is a graduate of Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1993. Roger practices in commercial and banking law, business transactions, real estate, agriculture, wills, trusts and estates, and state regulatory matters.
Roger serves as a volunteer attorney for clients through Legal Aid of Arkansas and Arkansas Volunteer Lawyers for the Elderly. He is also a board member for the Northeast Arkansas Bicycle Coalition, Inc., a local non-profit advocacy group. He also serves on the Board of Craighead County Community Foundation.
